Who We Really Are

Just a bunch of architects who got tired of seeing the same cookie-cutter buildings everywhere. We're here to shake things up.

Our Story (The Real Version)

Founded back in 2012, we started in a cramped shared office space with nothing but sketches, dreams, and way too much coffee. Navoren Quinthal had this wild idea that buildings could actually work WITH nature instead of against it - crazy, right?

Fast forward to today, and we've grown into a team that's genuinely obsessed with sustainable design. Not because it's trendy, but because we've seen firsthand how much better spaces feel when they're designed with the environment in mind.

We're based in Vancouver, which honestly gives us no excuse NOT to design sustainably - surrounded by mountains, ocean, and some of the most stunning natural beauty out there. Every project we take on is a chance to prove that contemporary architecture doesn't have to compromise on sustainability.

The Journey So Far

Here's how we got from sketches on napkins to award-winning designs

2012 - The Beginning

Started with just three of us in a tiny office. Our first project? A residential renovation that taught us more about plumbing disasters than we ever wanted to know.

2015 - First Big Break

Landed our first commercial project - a boutique hotel in Whistler. That's when we realized we could actually pull off sustainable design at scale.

2018 - Team Expansion

Moved to our current Granville Street studio and doubled our team. Finally had enough space to not trip over each other's drafting tables.

2021 - Recognition

Won the BC Sustainable Architecture Award. That was a pretty surreal moment - validation that we weren't just making stuff up as we went along.

2023 - Looking Forward

Expanded into heritage renovation and honestly? It's become one of our favorite challenges. Blending old character with new sustainability tech is incredibly satisfying.

Meet The Team

The folks who actually make this whole thing work

Navoren Quinthal

Started this whole adventure back in '12. Still can't believe people trust me with their buildings. When I'm not obsessing over floor plans, you'll find me hiking the North Shore trails.

What Actually Drives Us

Look, we're not gonna pretend we're saving the planet single-handedly. But we do believe that every building we design is a chance to make things a little bit better.

We're passionate about sustainable design because we've seen what happens when it's done right - spaces that people actually want to be in, buildings that don't cost a fortune to run, and projects that age gracefully instead of looking dated in five years.

Our approach is pretty straightforward: listen more than we talk, question everything (including ourselves), and never stop learning. The construction industry's always evolving, and if we're not keeping up, we're falling behind.

"We design buildings that work for people AND the planet. Not one or the other - both. That's the only way this makes sense."

- Navoren Quinthal
